Nursery Bedding Sets Look Nicer and Are Not So Costly

by Dorothea Frankson

The selection of baby bedding is truly vast, with everything from girl’s crib bedding crib sets for boys to gender neutral bedding. Although you can buy the bedding pieces separately, it really makes more sense to buy a set. Crib bedding sets are the equivalent of a bed-in-a-bag. Bedding sets are the perfect way to ensure that all your bedding will match each other, and the nursery. You will need more than one crib sheet, but you can usually find matching crib sheets sold as separates.

There will be multiple different variations of fabrics and colors, so try to decide ahead of time what it is you’re looking for.

A lot of parents prefer cotton and flannel to silk because they are much less expensive and more practical.

Buying a new bedding set can make a huge change in the look of the nursery, so you may be able to redecorate by doing nothing more than changing the crib bedding.

Keep baby’s gender in mind and buy something appropriate. Of course you wouldn’t want pink in a boy’s room, but for some reason blue in a girl’s room is fine. It’s not something you’ll need to worry about much, though. Manufacturers make what people buy, so you’ll most likely find what you want anyway. In a little boy’s room, expect to find cars, trucks, or football baby crib bedding. If you want a bright and vibrant nursery for your little boy, you should have no problem. There are plenty of bedding sets in greens, blues, oranges, and reds.Girls’ themes will usually incorporate characters like princesses, ballerinas, or fairies. Soft colors and pastels are more common for a feminine nursery. If you’re not sure of the sex of your baby, don’t worry. There are plenty of unisex choices, like animals, angels, or most cartoon characters.

In the somewhat unlikely event that you can’t find the exact crib bedding you want, you might consider a custom set instead.

Or if you sew, you can make the bedding yourself.

As long as you keep your budget in mind, you should be able to find the perfect bedding without spending a small fortune.
